All I know By Paul Martin What saves a man from eternal death? Is it the words of the sinner’s prayer? Or is it the emersion of water? Could it be something of greater depth? Every beating heart begs for the truth. The Bible claims you are the way But every soul must know you. And it is about a relationship some say. All I know is that you found me. And captivated me with your words All I know is that you saved me And it is by grace through faith I am yours All I know is that you know me And I know that you are my friend. All I know is that you love me And I will be with you beyond the end. It is by knowing God one is saved. Empty words will not be heard And good deeds will never be a cure For only a pure heart will see your face. One can pray the prayer in his mind. And walk the isle a thousand times. But an empty soul will remain lost, Until he walks beyond the Cross. All I know is that you found me. I always find strength to come back again But I always leave before the movie ends. I walk the streets with a mask on my face. I live to hide my shame and disgrace. And I laugh out loud to hide my sorrow How much more pain must I swallow? Father, so here I am broken and bruised Can you somehow break these chains loose? I know your Son died for me. And the blood He shed was to set me free. But why do I wonder back to the worldly mire, When you can provide me with all I desire. Please hear my prayer, my honest plea. As I ask for your help on bended knee. Forgive me for all the debt I can’t pay, And give me the grace to stand each day. Restore unto me that joy of your salvation. That I may be a light to the nations Our Only Savior By Paul Martin My heart is aching after your truth My soul begs to converse with you Recapture me with your Word again Release me from the guilt of my sin Help me to praise you with all that I am I want to love you with all of my might And yearn to serve you in anyway that I can For you are the joy of my life The one who saved me from the night You are the Son of God My Only Savior.
