Take
Me To Golgotha
By
Paul Martin
I remember when you walked
into the room
And rescued me from a life a doom
I was a young, tender, and innocent boy
When you saved me from
hell’s ploy
Now I am
a man who seeks your face
A great sinner in need of much grace
I will always be in need of you my Savior
For
I would be forever lost without your favor
Take me back
to the place of the skull
Where love and forgiveness conquered all
Take me
back to the origin of salvation
Where death brought forth reconciliation
Show me the blood stained wood and nails
May I remember
them every time I fail.
For your love for us kept you on the Cross
How can we ever forget the cost?
Hymn of Adoration
By Paul Martin
Our hearts are burning to know you
Our eyes are yearning to behold you.
For you are the joy of our hearts
The hope that shines in the dark
You are a shelter in the storm,
A mighty tower to keep us warm
You
protect the powerless
And direct the sightless
Oh Father of justification.
We praise you for our sanctification
Holy author of salvation
We glorify you for our reformation.
You are God, Son and Spirit all in one
The Christ
whose kingdom will come
We rest in knowing your will be done
On the earth as it is in heaven.
